Applications to the Reducing Reoffending Fund
Applications open from Monday 1st December 2025 until Monday 12th January 2025 at 9:00am.
Amount: up to £5,000
Available for: Community Safety Partnerships, local organisations, charities, community groups and Parish and Town Councils.
The Commissioner will be looking for applications that:
- Break the cycle of reoffending by addressing key factors such as substance misuse, mental health, housing, and employment.
- Support individuals at risk of reoffending through mentoring, education, training, or other rehabilitation-focused initiatives.
- Provide practical support and guidance to individuals leaving the criminal justice system, helping them build a positive future.
- Strengthen partnerships between criminal justice agencies, local support organisations, and communitiesto improve rehabilitation outcomes.
Fund criteria
- Applications must demonstrate how their project will reduce reoffending and support individuals at risk
- The maximum amount that can be applied for is £5,000.
- Applications from local community groups, organisations, charities and Parish and Town councils must demonstrate how they are working with the local policing team, the local Community Safety Partnership and specialist services.
- Local community groups, organisations and charities must supply their Articles of Association and previous two years accounts with their application.
- Be delivered in Lancashire and directly benefit Lancashire residents.
- Include match funding where possible (cash or in-kind)
- Include a sustainability plan - especially for any capital purchases.
- Provide a final evaluation report with financial breakdown, outcomes, and lessons learned
- The Commissioner will require evidence of continued maintenance of any capital assets purchased through the fund.
- All organisations must have appropriate policies and procedures in place including safeguarding where appropriate, health and safety and equality and diversity.
